I’m David, also known as Lord DeeJay, an independent game developer based in France.
I started creating mods when I was 14 and later moved into Unity development, building experimental games, fan projects and original prototypes. One of my Resident Evil fan games was nominated for Game Jolt’s Fan Game of the Year in 2022, and I later worked in QA on Sons of the Forest during its development at Endnight Games in Vancouver.
That experience strengthened my focus on gameplay feel, testing and the small details that turn an interesting prototype into a game players want to keep playing.
Today, I’m applying everything I learned to original projects and universes of my own. I currently develop them alongside my day job, one system, build and iteration at a time.
My games often combine arcade action, systemic design, unusual genre mashups and a slightly twisted sense of humour.
This page documents that journey. You’ll find playable experiments, demos and increasingly ambitious original games.
Thank you for playing, sharing feedback and helping these projects grow.
